About Bohannon Virtual Solutions
Bohannon Virtual Solutions (BVS) is an operational and administrative virtual support agency serving small businesses with fewer than 10 team members. We take a structured, values-driven approach to client partnerships, grounded in clear expectations, strong documentation, and genuine collaboration. Our clients are typically digital-first entrepreneurs and service-based business owners who have built something real and need dependable support to keep it running well.
At BVS, we believe most VA-client relationship failures come from misunderstandings in communication, not from the VA's capabilities. That's why every partnership here starts with careful matching, thorough onboarding, and ongoing communication support from Sammy, the founder.
Who We’re Looking For
We are adding a client-facing VA contractor to the BVS contractor pool. This is not an opportunity for fast, easy money. You'll be matched with real clients who will depend on you for consistent, professional support. The right person for this role takes ownership, communicates proactively, and doesn't wait to be told what to do.
As a representative of BVS and Sammy Bohannon, you will be expected to deliver on your promises.
Our Core Values Should Align
Accountability: We own up to our wins, but also our mistakes.
Transparency: Being honest will take you far with us. Plus, tell us up front if there's something we need to know.
Integrity: Honesty is a big deal for us, but also, doing the right thing, even when it's not the easy thing.
Collaboration: We collaborate with clients, with our team, and with others.
Continuous Learning: We are big supporters of education and learning. There is always something new to learn.
Non-Negotiables
We believe all people are entitled to the same human rights regardless of their race, nationality, socio-economic position, religion, sexuality, abilities or disabilities, gender, education, or language. If this does not align with you, this is not the right agency for you.
We do not tolerate any form of hate or violence. We will do our homework before hiring.
What You’ll Do
Your day-to-day will vary by client, but common responsibilities include:
Inbox and calendar management (Google Workspace and/or Outlook)
Client communication drafting and follow-up
Social media scheduling and light content coordination
CRM updates, data entry, and contact management
Project management platform management (Asana, ClickUp, Trello, or similar)
Document creation, editing, and organization
Research and compiling summaries or reports
Newsletter coordination and light email marketing support
Onboarding and offboarding support for client's own clients
Light systems and process documentation
Note: You will not be expected to do bookkeeping, paid ad management, heavy marketing, or graphic design unless this is one of your areas of expertise and it is explicitly discussed and agreed upon beforehand.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, executive assistant, or virtual assistant role
Excellent written communication: your emails and messages are clear and professional
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Sheets)
Comfortable with at least one project management tool (Asana, ClickUp, Notion, Monday)
Experience with 3+ tools regularly used in small business (Notion, ClickUp, Dubsado, Kajabi, GHL, Squarespace, Kit, Flodesk, Kartra, ThriveCart, Canva, Google Workspace, Loom, etc)
Reliable high-speed internet, a computer with webcam, and a quiet, professional workspace
Available during standard U.S. business hours (Monday–Friday; client hours may vary)
U.S.-based
Strongly Preferred
Experience working with online service-based business owners or solopreneurs
Previous VA agency experience
Experience supporting multiple clients or executives at once
Experience working remotely, both individually and on teams
What It’s Like to Work with Us
You will be matched with clients based on skill fit, personality, and capacity, not just whoever is available.
Sammy handles marketing and discovery calls. She then hands each client off to you with a structured 10-minute onboarding introduction so you're set up to succeed.
You'll have access to a project management system, internal documentation, SOPs, and working style reference cards for each client.
Please Note
We take VA and client satisfaction very seriously. If something isn't working, we want to know. This is a collaborative relationship.
This is an as-needed role. Hours are not guaranteed until you are matched with a client, at which point scope will be defined.
This role is NOT A FIT if:
You prefer to wait for instructions rather than anticipate needs.
You struggle with written communication.
You're looking for a way to make some quick cash.
You have no daytime availability to meet with clients.
What’s Next?
If you think you'd be a good fit, we encourage you to apply.
Applications are read by a human and you will hear back either way.
If we feel like you may be a good fit, you may be invited to a video interview. After that interview, we will discuss next steps, but our general hiring workflow is as follows:
