My 4-Month OBM Retainer

Four months wasn’t chosen by chance. It was strategically designed.

Four months is the minimum amount of time we need to actually move the needle with my OBM services by:

  • auditing what doesn’t exist

  • building what’s missing

  • leading the execution

  • gathering enough data to evaluate if what we’re doing is actually working

All of my OBM services retainers include:

  • Weekly 30-minute 1:1 with me to give updates, create plans, and make decisions

  • The OBM Pulse: your weekly ops report delivered via email every Monday

  • Direct access to me with priority support

  • Quarterly systems audits to make sure everything still fits as your business grows

  • SOPs documented as we build, so you don’t have processes that only one person can do

  • Access to the BVS VA team (if additional support is needed) and I’ll handle all the training and delegation so you won’t have to worry about it

Scope, hours, and specific focus areas are determined on our call based on where your business is right now. Retainers start at a minimum of 20 hours per month for $1,500/month.

Together we’ll clarify your goals for the next 30/60/90 days so we are both aligned on what’s most important right now.


Step 2: Audit of Current Operations

I’ll do an audit of your business operations to identify what’s working, what’s not, and what you need to move in the next direction.


Step 3: Take Action

This is where we execute. What we build depends entirely on your business (i.e. systems, team management, project leadership, SOPs). What you won’t have is a to do list that never gets done.


Step 4: Review, Refine, & Re-Evaluate

Throughout your time in my OBM services retainer, I’ll review your tracked KPIs, compare progress against your goals, and report back to you so you know what got done, what worked, and what didn’t. At the end of our 4-months, you’ll have a detailed understanding of where your business stands and a list of recommendations for next steps. And there is always the option of continuing to work with us.

Why is there a 4-month minimum for your OBM services?

Four months is the minimum amount of time my process takes. The first month of my OBM services is all about giving me time to learn about your business well enough to make helpful changes, identify what our top priorities will be, identify KPIs, and make a plan. The second and third months are full of execution. And the final month? That’s where we review, refine, and document.

It isn’t possible to see a change in 30 days. The only thing we will be able to accomplish is identifying a problem, which will only feel more problematic for you instead of like a solution.

Do you offer a trial period?

Yes! I offer a 2-week trial period, at a slightly higher rate, so you can get the full experience of my OBM services before committing to a full 4-month retainer.

How are you different from other OBMs?

I want my services to be held in high-esteem and I want you to feel like you’re a VIP when you work with me. So, I only take on a handful of OBM clients at a time, up to 25 hours a week across all of my retainers. This allows me to actually get to know you and your business, not a version of it I only half remember from 3 weeks ago.

It means when you message me, you really are top priority and when you need a decision, I’m not lost in a fog of decision fatigue and unable to see the other side.

Plus, having a team of VAs means if you need additional support, I’ve already got the perfect person in mind. You say the word and I’ll have them trained and do the delegating so you don’t have to hire separately or manage two different relationships and contracts.

How do I know if I am ready to hand over this much access to my business?
