OBM Services for Small Businesses Ready for a Strategic Partner
Finally have a co-leader who gets your vision, brings the strategy, and keeps the wheels turning—without you having to sacrifice a single thing.
You’re managing your business by yourself, and while that’s admirable, you know it’s not sustainable.
It’s time to bring someone with OBM services in to help do the managing so you can focus your vision and growth.
You’re feeling roadblocked from spending so much time being everything to everyone. You know you need to make a major change—and you need to do it soon.
You have so many responsibilities and people who rely on you. And it’s causing you to hold off on important projects that will make real progress for your business.
You aren’t quite sure what you want or need from whomever you are going to bring in for support to help you with all of this.
My 4-Month OBM Retainer was created with small businesses in mind.
With my 4-month OBM Retainer, I’ll manage the day-to-day operations of your business so you can finally be the visionary and focus on growing your business.
I provide collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership to leverage your current operations and team structure and make tweaks or improvements as necessary so you can focus on what truly matters to you without having to sacrifice a single thing.
Instead of feeling roadblocked and overwhelmed:
You’ll have a strategic partner who manages the business so you can focus on the vision and overall growth.
Projects will be mapped out, seeing significant progress, and finally be seen through to completion.
You will feel confident in your role in your business and the future of your business.
You will have a leader by your side who is capable of making decisions on your behalf and managing your business itself with little extra time or energy from you.
Your business is a powerful machine. I’m the mechanic who adjusts and maintains it through my OBM services.
I Have a Repeatable Process for Our 4-Months Together
We’ll start by prioritizing your 30, 60, and 90 day goals to increase your confidence in your new role as visionary of the business.
Next, we will audit all operations related to the goals you’ve set and identify areas of improvement so we can focus on the changes we need to make that will make the most impact on your business.
Then we’ll gather feedback from clients and team members on what they believe is and isn’t currently working to ensure everyone is on the same page with your goals and increase buy-in from those going through these changes with you.
We will create and execute a plan with 2-3 specific, high priority operational tasks to focus on so that you remain on track when unexpected challenges or distractions arise.
We will frequently monitor progress toward your goals, maintaining communication with team members and clients if necessary, to allow for adjustments to goals or processes throughout the execution rather than waiting until the end and realizing either goals will not be met or there things that are not working as planned, causing unnecessary stress and even more time spent.
Upon completion of the 90-day period, you will re-assess operational processes, hear feedback from team members and clients on changes, and document any new or updated processes or workflows, giving you a chance to appreciate and celebrate reaching your goals and the positive changes you’ve made.
You will have the option to repeat the cycle, building upon previous improvements so that you can better serve your clients in a way that works for you, your business, and your clients.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there a 4-month requirement for your OBM services?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Do you offer a trial period?
Yes! I offer a 2-week trial period for you to try out my OBM services. It is at a slightly higher rate than my normal services, but if you continue working with me for the entire 4-month period, the price of the trial period will be deducted from your 4-month retainer.
If you are interested in a 2-week trial period, I will tell you more about it during our Sales Call and there is a place to mark your interest on my Sales Call Intake Form.
How am I going to truly achieve my goals in 90-days?
I have laid out the ground work to help us narrow down and focus on the most important goals for our 4-months together. This gives us time at the beginning to plan, time at the end to evaluate, and then 90-days in the middle for implementation.
We will not be working toward all of your goals in 90 days. We will have 1-2 measurable and realistic (not to mean easy!) goals to show the impact of our work together and to consciously measure.
Can we only work on what we set goals for?
We can work on whatever you want.
That being said, it is important to know that my process is in place to help us set realistic (but not easy!) goals that can actually be achieved.
So if your main goal is to launch in 3 months, but you also want me working on team building, running a client-facing inbox, and fixing up your system for capturing testimonials, that’s absolutely no problem.
However, I will be focusing progress monitoring, KPI tracking, etc on the goal of launching and preparing for the launch.
How are you any different from other OBMs? You’re all out here promising all these things and I don’t know how to choose.
There are many people offering OBM services you could choose to help you with this, but few will share the values my team and I have as well as have the passion for helping people and creating relationships with the people we serve. I’m honored you’ve chosen to consider my team and I for this big responsibility.
I take on only a few OBM clients (up to 25 hours a week) so I can focus on you and your business and really get to know it—that’s how important it is to me to provide the best possible service and lead your business with pride.
Ultimately, the choice is yours, but I do think you’ll find your experience with me and my team to be superior in all ways.
How do I know if I am ready to allow someone so much access to me and my business?
I get that. It’s hard to trust someone else with your business. I’ve been helping business owners for a while now and I even have people help me in my own business.
The truth? No one will ever care about your business the way you do. All you can do is find someone that comes pretty damn close.
BUT ALSO…
You’re ready or you wouldn’t be here.
I’ll walk you through it. I’ll tell you everything you need to do and know. I’ll help ease you into it and give you time to get to know me before I ask you to hand over the keys to the kingdom.

This also includes process documentation via your choice of video platform and detailed, written SOPs.

-
Either together with you, with other team members, or solo, I’ll take an idea and plan the project needed for it to come to fruition. This includes needed resources, people, technology, timelines, project deliverables, and mapping it all out.
I’ll also manage the project once it starts, leading the kick-off call, setting it up in our project management system, delegating necessary tasks, checking in with team members regularly, delivering project updates to all stakeholders, anticipating bottlenecks, and making executive decisions as the project progresses.
This is a huge part of the way I offer OBM services and the overall process to seeing results.
-
Similar to project planning and management, I will, either with you, with other team members, or solo, plan upcoming launches from start to finish including timelines, deliverables, anticipated bumps along the way, team members needed, and much more.
I’ll even assist in or lead the execution of the launch, solving problems as they arise, being the main point of contact for anyone involved, and extended business hours for assistance as needed. Plus, you know, making sure tech is working, workflows are ready (well beforehand), and whatever we’re launching is ready for the big day.
-
I’ll help you decide on KPIs if you do not already have them and what metrics we need to be looking at to help you reach your goals.
I will document and report on those metrics periodically to the team and use them to help make decisions toward growth.
-
I am not a professional marketer.

OBM Packages Include Customized Support AND:
-
My OBM services also include access to my team of virtual assistants in case you need more support due to time constraints or availability of other team members. The best part is if we decide to bring on someone from my VA team to support, I’ll take care of it all: training, delegation, and ensuring timeliness with deliverables.
-
**A 30-minute minimum 1:1 meeting is required each week with Sammy.
We’ll meet each week to talk about the previous week, give and receive updates, discuss our goals for the upcoming week, plan for delegation, pinpoint any issues we’ve had or foresee, and discuss next steps to ensure you have the space you need to reach your goals and make those big dreams come true.
-
These only apply if you have a team and want weekly team meetings.
I’ll facilitate weekly whole team (or “department”) meetings to keep us all on track, provide updates, and ensure we’re all aligned. I’ll even beg the team to do cheesy icebreakers and team building activities if that’s your jam.
-
This is most likely the biggest reason you’re hiring me: so you can get everything to work together and talk to each other.
I’ll research solutions, answer questions, automate, integrate, and train the team on new tools and tech so you can worry about what we’re launching next instead of if the tech is going to work.

This is an extra monthly meeting, up to 2 hours long, to focus on your goals and what you need to move the needle in your business. Here are some of the meetings current and former clients have needed:
Monthly Finance Meeting
We reviewed all sales, leads, spending, etc and used that data to make decisions about budget for the next month—specifically ad spend.
Monthly Team Trainings
One client I worked with wanted me to use this time to train team members on something new each month such as best practices, new tech, or whatever.
Monthly Project Review
My client and I used this meeting to talk through project updates, look at progress, identify issues, determine if it was matching our timeline and make decisions.
Strategic Planning Meeting
One client like for me to sit with her and take notes as she talked through everything she was interested in doing for the next month or quarter and then help her plan out what could reasonably be done and what it would take to make it happen.
Body Doubling/CoWorking
I had another client who wanted me to sit with them and work. Basically we did our own things, but we made sure we were both working toward our goal and checked in every 30 minutes to keep us accountable and talk through any issues that arose.
-
Each quarter, I will review the systems we’re using and make suggestions for improvement if needed or tweak anything that needs to be tweaked to ensure we are meeting your goals.
